Why owners turn it on

  1. 01
    The owner is exempt

Only actions by other members count.

  2. 02
    One alert per incident

A burst of deletions sends one alert.

  3. 03
    Alerts say what happened

Each names the offender and the action Nano took.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Discord anti-nuke bot?
Nuking is when someone with staff permissions mass-deletes channels and roles or bans members to wreck a server. An anti-nuke bot watches for it and stops the person doing it. Nano's VIP protection counts each role delete, channel delete, ban and protected role removal per person, and when someone passes your limit within your time window, Nano strips their admin roles, kicks or bans them, or only alerts you.
Is VIP protection free?
No. VIP protection is part of Nano Premium, and a free server cannot enable the module. Nano's moderation, leveling, tickets, giveaways, economy and welcome modules are free.
What counts as a destructive action?
Deleting a role, deleting a channel, banning a member, or taking a protected role off a member. Each one counts towards the limit of the person who did it. The server owner is never counted.
What does stripping dangerous roles remove?
Every role the offender holds with the Administrator or Manage Server permission.
What permissions does Nano need?
View Audit Log, to see who acted. Then Ban Members, Kick Members or Manage Roles for the penalty you choose, and Manage Roles to put protected roles back.
How do I set it up?
From the VIP Protection module in the dashboard, or with /settings protection vip.
