What is a Discord verification bot?

A verification bot holds new members at a gate until they complete a check, then gives them the role that opens the rest of the server. With Nano, a new member presses the Verify button on a panel. In CAPTCHA mode, part of Premium, they also type a code shown in an image.

Is verification free?

Yes. Button verification is free on every server. CAPTCHA mode is part of Nano Premium.

How does CAPTCHA mode work?

When a member presses Verify, Nano shows them a code in an image that only they can see. They press Submit Answer, type the code, and receive the role when it matches. Codes expire after a short time, and repeated wrong attempts pause for a few minutes.

Can I change the panel message?

Yes. Write your own text with /verification setup or in the dashboard. Without one, the panel shows Nano's default message.

What happens if a member is already verified?

Nano tells them privately that they are already verified, and changes nothing.

How do I turn verification off?

Run /verification disable. The panel stops giving the role until you set it up again.
