What is a Discord automation?
An automation is a rule that makes a bot act on its own when something happens in the server: if this, then that. In Nano, the trigger is a member joining or leaving, a keyword, a reaction or a role given, and the action is a channel message, a direct message, or a role given or removed.
Are automations free?
No. Automations are part of Nano Premium, and a free server cannot enable the module. Nano's moderation, leveling, tickets, giveaways, economy and welcome modules are free.
What can start an automation?
A member joining or leaving, a message that contains a keyword, a reaction with the emoji you choose, or a member being given a role.
What can an automation do?
Post a message in a channel, send the member a direct message, or give or remove a role. A message can include the member, the server's name and the member count.
How many automations can a server run?
Up to 25 on Premium. Each one can be switched off from the dashboard without deleting it.
Is there a command to set them up?
No. Automations are built in the dashboard: pick a trigger, then an action, and save.
