Changelog

What's New

Recent updates and improvements to Nano. For features and pricing, see Premium or browse the full command list.

Only releases with changes you would notice are listed, so version numbers may skip.

v1.8.1#

Adding social sources

Improved

  • Adding a Twitch, YouTube, Reddit or RSS source tells you exactly what happened when it cannot be added.
  • The dashboard keeps you signed in, and offers a retry when a page does not load.

v1.8.0#

Clearer messages everywhere

Improved

  • Every message Nano sends, in Discord, on the dashboard and by email, uses plain, professional wording, in English and Arabic.
  • /premium shows the Free and Premium limits side by side, with the numbers for each.
  • Error messages on the dashboard say what happened in your terms, without technical wording.
  • Premium status, ticket lists, giveaway entries, invite and XP confirmations and the mass-ban summary each name what they are about, with the numbers that matter.

Fixed

  • The welcome message and help text point to /info help.

v1.7.2#

Faster YouTube alerts

Improved

  • YouTube announcements arrive within seconds of a video going up, whether you added the channel from the dashboard or with /social.
  • Twitch and YouTube watches start working the moment you add them, and keep working after you pause and resume one.

v1.7.1#

Social notifications match your plan

Improved

  • Social notification announcements follow your Premium: they run while Premium is active and pause when it ends. Everything you set up is kept, and announcements resume when Premium does.
  • The switches in the embed builder are read out correctly by screen readers.

v1.7.0#

Premium trial and end-of-Premium notice

Improved

  • Starting a Premium trial switches on every Premium feature straight away, so there is nothing to go and find.
  • The notice before Premium ends lists exactly which features stop, and confirms that everything you set up is kept.

v1.6.9#

Leveling says what it does

Improved

  • Leveling is listed as on in a new server, matching what Nano already does there. Servers that switched it off stay off.
  • The server settings summary, the module list and the dashboard all report leveling the same way.

v1.6.8#

Welcome message and level-up announcements

Improved

  • Nano introduces itself when it joins a server, with the getting-started steps and the free trial in that first message.
  • Level-up announcements land in a channel members can see, falling back to the channel the conversation is happening in.

v1.6.7#

Steadier replies and clearer pricing

Improved

  • The yearly plan leads with what it works out to per month, $4.17, with the full yearly charge and the saving named underneath it.
  • Upgrade prompts point you to the single place a subscription is set up, rather than offering a second route that ends on the same page.
  • A command that is turned down, for a cooldown or for a missing permission, says so once and says why.
  • Server protection sends one alert per incident, naming exactly what it did.

v1.6.5#

A coin that looks like a coin

Improved

  • Coins show with a currency symbol. Servers that never picked their own get one, and a symbol you chose yourself is left exactly as it is.

v1.6.4#

Clearer economy messages

Improved

  • The dashboard economy overview reports the total coins in circulation for your server.
  • Blackjack, Hangman and the server stat counter list read more clearly.
  • Giveaway winners are announced by name, with the prize they won. Rerolls too.

Fixed

  • Begging names the member who helped you, or who turned you down.
  • Turning a server log off confirms that it is off, in both languages.
